Trying to conceive - am late but test is negative?

My mom's doctor told her something to keep in mind about HPT's: a positive is ALWAYS positive, but a negative is sometimes wrong. I suggest waiting a few more days and trying another one....you might be late because of stress (hoping and trying for a baby is stressful on your body) or something else. Good luck!
