Work politics (what is the right thing to do)?

you spervisor is arrogant, condescending and uninformed. he tells you to do things that you know deep down inside is wrong. what would be the right thing to do? should you follow through with his ideas? or should you ignore it and go up and talk to the superiors above him. should you quit this job?
